How To Find Out What Firmware Your On

The first step is to open up your Settings application, then by selecting General followed by About you will be greeted with the general specs of your iDevice.
You can now see certain specs such as how many photos you have, how many songs, etc. but most importantly your firmware. As you can see in the pic this device is currently on 4.0 build 8A293. So now you’ve found your firmware version
