Re: College Hoops
Kentucky looked sloppy last night, but they have tons of talent and a good bench.
They came out 2nd half and beat down Kansas in every way.
College basketball will have to do for now since the NBA is in a lockout..

Re: College Hoops
Well if the lockout continues these college hoops players will have to stay in school....
I don't see Harrison Barnes as a good college player and for people to have him so high in the NBA draft after this season puzzles me. Sure he can score 17 pts and grab 7 rebounds as a shooting guard, but there are plenty of players across the nation that can do that and they do not get the recognition he gets.
Austin Rivers is on a short leash. Coach K kept taking him out of the game after he made a mistake. Never seen him do that to his superstar players. Maybe Austin isn't a superstar??? He has speed, can shoot and has athleticism, but he needs to work on his decision making. Coach K also needs to let him play and not mess up his momentum by taking him out every so often... Curry can't score without his jumpshot. In order to be a complete player you have to incorporate both the jumpshot and the drive to your game. He can shoot and everyone knows it.
Anthony Davis from Kentucky is looking good as is Terrence Jones. Gilchrist looks horrible because he can't shoot the ball and that's all he was trying to do last night against Kansas. Teague had a lot of turnovers, but he is a good point guard and turning the ball over comes with being a point guard and handling the ball so much. He can shoot and he finds his teammates. Plus he can score..
The post from Kansas has an NBA ready body. He is a monster. Robinson is his last name. He should be a good NBA player just because there aren't many physcial post players in the NBA.
Sullinger from Ohio State looks like he has developed a mid range jump shot which will help him out tremendously. He lacks post moves and I am not sold on his scoring ability. He is a big dude and should be dominating college opposing teams right now, but he isn't. He should be averaging a double double.
These are some of the players I have kept up with so far. I can add to this list as soon as the season moves forward...
