I have the Fat version and that's what I prefer. It just feels better made i think. It used to have the ability for Linux until Sony neuter it. But I still prefer that one.

Yeah, alot of people say the FAT version is better, but I feel the slimmer is more compact and looks more flashy.. although I do miss my old FAT one that played my old PS2 game collection...!!!

FAT is better, I like the slim but nothing beats the nice juicy shiny black version that the FAT offers.

I own a slim. And i just like the way the fat one looks. Plus it has ports for memory sticks and such.

I prefer the FAT version Smile. Slim is to skinny and gay lol. plus the fat version looks legit with the shining of the top of the ps3 Smile

The Fat was and is a workhorse, but they are more prone to YLOD.

My slims are running well, if they can give me the years my phat gave me, I'll probally be looking into a ps4 when those ps3 go to PS Heaven.
