xbox 360 repair

im having problem with my 360 when i put it vertically the tray gets stuck....it sucks..when i put it horizontal it opens can any one help....

Check if its still under warranty im pretty sure it is.I am on my 10th xbox and i thought i wasnt under warranty and i ordered a repair and it turned out i was.

well its a 08/22/09 i dont know if its under warranty

Well mine was expired to. It doesnt hurt to check youd be suprised it will prolly still be accepted for repair even if its expired,Im not sure but i think theres lifetime warrenty for e74,disc tray problems,etc.

well check if its under warranty why spend if it is.Go to xboxlive.com,then register your console,request a repair n thats it.

I know if it's a red ring issue u have 3years if it isn't they're gonna try and make u pay for it. Best thing is check it out with microsoft. If not try one of these local people but find someone you can trust. I tried this one guy in Pharr. Took him 2 systems and he kept telling me they were good. I would get home. Systems worked for about 45 minutes then give out again.

I found this one guy in Mission. I'm planning on taking a system I have with some issues with. there's 2 numbers. XXX-XXX-XXXX or XXX-XXX-XXXX.

So did u ever get your xbox fixed?

Yeah i got my box fixed. The guy took it one day. The following day it was ready. It purrs like a kitten now. The only thing you need to make sure it's the original dvd drive but it works like when i first got it. I highly recommend him.

i've heard theres no permanent fix on the 360s with RROD is it true?

All they do for red ring is just send you a new system if it's still under warranty. When it's a red ring issue you have a 3 year extended manufacture warranty. If it's any other type of issue I know you only get one year.
